Membership Has Its Privileges
When you become a member at Shaker Road, you're in for a lot more than training and responding to fires. What makes becoming a volunteer so special are the relationships you build with your fellow members. Whether you're shooting baskets in the parking lot, enjoying yourself with friends at a party or just hanging out with the guys. Along with the social aspects that come with joining, you also can benefit from the networking that happens when you become a member of such a diverse group of individuals.
Service Award Program
The Shaker Road Loudonville Fire Department Inc. is a participant in the State of the New York Service Award Program for volunteer firefighters. Firefighters can earn a monetary award, for each year of active service, collectable when the firefighter reaches the age of 62 years.
