WHAT'S IT LIKE?
Becoming a member of Shaker Road Loudonville Fire Department is like joining a big new family full of brothers and sisters from diverse backgrounds. You’ll be doing a lot of training and responding to emergencies but you’ll also be participating in community events, athletics, parades, banquets or just watching the big game with your buddies while on duty in-station.
YOU CAN DO THIS!
Our membership is made up of all types of people and abilities. Some are interior full-service firefighters, others are exterior scene support or drivers only. You’ll undergo some intense training at first to meet local and State requirements with on-going training sessions but even those with busy work or family schedules manage to find time to make it all fit in their lives.
